Reginiussen loaned to Lecce - Grossmüller released

Schalke have loaned Tore Reginiussen to Italian first-division side Lecce on a one-year deal. The Norwegian defender, who moved to Gelsenkirchen from Tromso in the 2009/2010 winter break, is contracted to the Royal Blues until 30 June 2013.  Read more

Royal Blues away to Hamburg on opening day

Schalke have been handed an interesting away fixture on the opening day of the 2010/2011 Bundesliga season. Felix Magath's men will travel to Hamburg SV, the German Football League (DFL) said on Monday.
