The Schalke Museum
- Team of the Century: A total of 10,144 fans voted for the best Schalke team in the 20th century. Which eleven players captured the hearts of the fans between the years of 1904 and 2000?
- Audio room: Famous players bring the past back to life in a series of vivid accounts. An intensive and exciting journey into the history of the Royal Blues.
- Chronicle: Twenty-four display boards and four glass cases contain all the essential information on the club's history since 4 May 1904, when Willy Gies and his young friends couldn't possibly have imagined what would become of the club they had just founded...
- Video tunnel: Four films lasting a total of 35 minutes show the origins of the Schalker Kreisel (a style of play made famous by the club), the run of success in the 1930s and 1940s, the 'good old days' in the Oberliga West, and the Bundesliga, with all the highs and lows and the triumphant excursion into Europe in the 1996/1997 season, which ended in UEFA Cup victory.
- Fan room: A carbon copy of the living-room of a true Schalke fan and, we promise, no exaggeration!
And as you would expect, we also provide a glimpse inside the Schalke treasure chest. Valuable exhibits that bear witness to wonderful events:
- The UEFA Cup, won in 1997
- The Championship Shield, lifted by a Schalke captain for the one and only time to date in 1958
- Championship winners' medals and pins, which Schalke legends such as Ernst Kuzorra and Fritz Szepan collected en masse in the 1930s and 1940s
- The honorary gift presented to team captain Reinhard Libuda by the German Football Association (DFB) after Schalke's 1972 cup triumph.
- Plus: Ernst Kuzorra's private photo album, Reinhard Libuda's football boots, Klaus Fischer's leading goalscorer award, an Inter Milan shirt 'bagged' by Youri Mulder, the footprints of the UEFA Cup heroes...
