10,000 tickets sold for Basel friendly!

The demand for tickets to Schalke's dress rehearsal for the second half of the season is brisk. Since sales began ten days ago some 10,000 tickets have been sold for the visit of Swiss league leaders FC Basel to the VELTINS Arena on Friday, 25 January.
"That's a pleasing development and shows our fans accept the idea of presenting attractive opponents at our own ground", said general manager Andreas Müller.
Schalke fans can see the game against the eleven-time Swiss champions at family prices, with standing tickets costing 5 euros (concessions) and 8 euros, seats 13, 18 and 23 euros.
