Cup. |Copyright: firo sportphoto|The VELTINS Arena is set to host a top-quality Bundesliga warm-up tournament this Saturday (following the pre-season open day) and Sunday. With less than three weeks to the start of the new season to go, the LIGA total! Cup gives Schalke, Bayern Munich, Hamburg SV and FC Cologne an ideal opportunity to gauge their form.

All the teams will be looking to hone their tactical focus in a tournament that represents the final dress rehearsal before the DFL Super Cup Final in Augsburg next Saturday (kick-off: 1745 CET), which pits the Royal Blues against Bayern Munich. It also offers the fans of the four competing clubs a chance to see the odd big-name signing or two.

On Sunday the two semi-final victors will meet in the final at 1835 CET following the match for third place between the two losing semi-finalists at 1645.

To add to the excitement all four matches will consist of two 30-minute halves. The match for third place and the final will not have any extra time.  If the scores are level at full-time, the games will go straight to a penalty shoot-out.
