Neuer and Westermann back temporarily

Schalke manager Felix Magath called his players in for training for the second time this week on Thursday afternoon. Manuel Neuer and Heiko Westermann were back on board again after the national team agreed not to resume training until Sunday following the tragic death of Robert Enke.
Former Stuttgart and Rostock midfielder Tobias Rathgeb again took part in the session as a triallist, but Jan Landau, who trained with the Royal Blues on Wednesday, was not involved. Landau, a striker with fifth-tier Hamburg outfit FC Bergedorf, trained just the once, as had been previously agreed.
