Pliatsikas sidelined but Holtby, Sanchez and Mineiro return

The Royal Blues will be without Greece international Vasileios Pliatsikas at VfB Stuttgart on Saturday. The Schalke midfielder injured an ankle playing for his country in the World Cup qualifiers and is not fit to play.
In two more changes to the squad selected for the home win over Eintracht Frankfurt last time out, defenders Marvin Pachan and Lubos Hanzel will not be making the trip to Swabia. Instead, head coach Felix Magath has nominated Lewis Holtby, who has returned from the Under-20 World Cup, plus midfielder Mineiro and striker Vicente Sanchez, both of whom have recovered from knee injuries.
