After the 3-1 win over Stuttgart there were lots of smiling faces in the Schalke camp. Christian Fuchs, Marco Höger and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar told schalke04.com how they saw the game.

Christian Fuchs: It's always nice to win. |Copyright: firo sportphotoChristian Fuchs: It's always nice to win and it's great to be so high up in the table. Nevertheless we're going to stick to our principles and continue taking each game as it comes without worrying about what our rivals do. We neutralised Stuttgart's strengths and won comfortably in the end. The injuries to Benedikt Höwedes and Alexander Baumjohann are a big blow, however. They're both very important for us. It's now down to us to repeat the good form we showed in the first half of the season.

Marco Höger: We're satisfied with our performance and especially with the result. The only sour note was the injury to Bene [Höwedes] because I had a hand in it. We owed Stuttgart one after losing there in the first half of the season and now we want to take the next step in Cologne.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar: The win was the perfect start for us. We showed that we deserve to be right there in the title race. I could have scored twice but unfortunately it wasn't to be. One goal was incorrectly ruled out and in the second situation I couldn't put the ball in the net. But as long as we win as a team that's more important.
