Winter schedule complete – indoor tournament in Oldenburg first up

With head coach Felix Magath already having elected to hold a training camp at Cadiz in southern Spain (2 to 9 January 2010) to prepare for the second half of the Bundesliga season, the club have now announced the dates for the players' holiday and the resumption of training.
The Schalke players will take their Christmas holidays from 19 to 29 December before resuming their mid-season preparations a day before New Year's Eve at an indoor tournament in Oldenburg, where they will face VfL Wolfsburg, second division side Fortuna Düsseldorf, the state of Bremen under-21 team, Dutch first division club Vitesse Arnhem and fifth-tier outfit VfB Oldenburg). The tournament will take place at the Weser-Ems-Halle on 30 December (1400 to 1830 CET).
